Debbie Clarke is a "Boston School" artist with a focus on Figuration and Mixed Media. She has traveled to Venice where she did an in-depth study of the Iconic Venetian and Gothic paintings found in every neighborhood church and confraternatie. She has assimilated the use of decorative gold as the first created light in the icon tradition of " writing" a painting.
Debbie's work is on permanent display in the Fisheries Collection of the Cape Ann Historical Museum. She has exhibited extensively throughout New England and has been commisioned by private collectors throughout the northeast and europe.
